This global learning community uses a virtual platform to connect proven innovators and share tested tools, strategies and deep knowledge for transforming systems. As a founding partner, Charles has helped to build the Academy and continues to design and facilitate a range of multi-stakeholder dialogues and capacity-building programs.



Since meeting on a joint project with Deepak Chopra in San José, Costa Rica, Charles and Richard Barrett have become friends and collaborators on a variety of projects. The work of the Barrett Values Center has proven invaluable to many of Charles’ clients.



Charles was one of the original supporters in helping to establish this Vancouver-based charitable organization to educate the heart and foster compassion through creative learning, facilitating and applying research, and connecting people and ideas.



Since 1993, Charles has collaborated with the faculty of the School of Business and the Continuing Studies department on developing and teaching a range of innovative programs. He has contributed to breaking new ground with the first Executive Management Development Program, customized MBAs for corporations and industries (including a Biotech and a Sustainability MBA), and the creation of the SFU Learning Strategies Group.



Through his work with Richard Barrett and the Barrett Values Centre, Charles has collaborated with and supported the initiatives of the Institute for Values-Based Leadership at Royal Roads University. The Institute provides ground-breaking and distinctive programs, resources and services that foster values-based to experienced and emerging leaders, entrepreneurs and scholars.



This network of non-profit learning communities emerged from the Center for Organizational Learning at MIT, founded by Peter Senge. Charles began attending SOL conferences more than 10 years ago and has been a consultant of choice to deliver SOL-related educational programs.



Charles has worked with the Executive Programs at UBC for 20+ years. He has consistently been one of the top rated instructors in these programs and collaborates with the Executive Program Team to identify new and innovative approaches to learning and executive development.
